Problem Supplement
Observe a sample containing a mixture of various items of different sizes, lengths, or mass (e.g. a bag of trail mix containing nuts, raisins, etc.).
Sort the mixture by a selected property (length, mass, etc.).
Measure the property and count the number of items in each grouping.
Using this data, determine the number-average, weight-average, z-average, and the polydispersity index of the selected property for your mixture.
