13. Sin

God created us in His image, but sin came into the world through Adam and separated us from God. Our sin nature keeps us separated
from God. Our own attempts to bridge the separation between us and God is futile. And our sin condemns us to eternal separation
from God unless we have Jesus Christ as our Savior.

By God's grace (unmerited favor or gift) to us.

15. Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely necessary for personal salvation.
