CRITERIA FOR SELECTION OF REVIEWERS 

FOR ACADEMIC PROGRAM REVIEW

 (Out-of-State Reviewers)

• Holds terminal degree appropriate to the program under review.

• Has outstanding scholarly and/or experiential record.

• Holds membership in professional societies related to the program under review.

• Is currently employed in a reputable institution or organization outside of the State of Tennessee (but geographically near) with a similar mission to Tennessee Technological University.

• Is not a former student, current or former employee, or relative of current faculty of the institution where program review will be conducted.

• Has close familiarity with the type of program and type of institution in which the review will be conducted.

 Submit the departmental list to the academic dean for review and selection. The selection of the reviewers will be made by the academic dean in consultation with the Office of Academic Affairs to reflect the University mission.
